1/2 onion
2 tsp garlic powder
1.5 pounds ground beef
6 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
2 eggs
1/2 cup paremsan cheese
8 oz lasagna noodles
1. Sautee onion and green pepper. Add in garlic powder and stir.
2. Add ground beef and cook until brown.
3. Drain ground beef and put it in a large bowl.
4. Add spaghetti sauce to bowl and mix well.
5. In a separate smaller bowl, mix together eggs, parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese.
6. In a 9 x 13 pan, spread one cup of meat mixture.
7. Layer 1/3 uncooked lasagna noodles, then 1/2 cheese mixture, then 1/3 meat mixture. Repeat once.
8. Top w/ remaining noodles and then meat sauce.
9. Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 55 minutes.
10. Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
11. Return to the oven for five minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
12. Let stand fifteen minutes before cutting and serving.
